That said, keep in mind that trends are always coming and going, and you shouldn’t feel pressure to constantly embrace them. But when a trend comes along that you love, go for it—and don’t be afraid to hold onto it well past its supposed expiration date, either. I have always been a fan of unique lighting with personality, whether that’s through pattern, color, or shape. And as someone who spends a lot of time on home decor TikTok, I’ve been overjoyed to watch maximalism—and in turn, whimsical lighting—take over. Flower-shaped lamps especially have been popping up at home decor stores more and more, and if you haven’t gotten in on the trend yet, 2025 is the time to finally embrace it.

The squiggle table lamp above is a toned down option in gold if you just want to dip your toes in, but you can go full force with the other bright, candy-colored options.
